The Man Short Film

My most recent foray into filmmaking comes in the form of a short film that I wrote two years ago. The script went through several different iterations and two different directors before landing in the talented hands of Daniel Lasker. The film was shot in South Africa on a minuscule budget of $300.00 with talented local actors. The film turned out better than I ever envisioned thanks to a passionate cast and crew.

There will be more news on the project in the months to come as it makes its way through the film festival circuit.

Synopsis: After being hired by the Mob to dispose of a corpse, two South African thugs drive out to a secluded forest to bury the dead-man, but they run into unforeseen circumstances when the body starts to move.

Directed by Daniel Lasker

Written by Oscar K. Reyes

Cast: Arthur Falko, Lionel Strasky, and Tapiwa Musvosvi

Filmed in South Africa

Runtime: 20 minutes

The short film is currently being screened in several international film festivals. The production company is in the process of finding a distributor for the film.
